Synthgear GB Series

Synthgear GB Series

Balmerol Synthgear GB Series has been developed using Polyglycol (PG / PAG) baseoils of proven versatility for applications in extremes of temperatures. Balmerol Synthgear GB oils are manufactured with synergistic blends of extreme pressure / anti-wear additives, antioxidants, rust & corrosion inhibitors to provide superior performance and provide better equipment protection.

Balmerol Superstar meets: API SM & JASO MA 2

Available Size:

500ml 1L 0.35l

Features & Benefits:

  • High viscosity index, suitable for both low and high temperature applications
  • Excellent high temperature oxidation and thermal stability
  • High load carrying capability along with good anti-wear properties
  • Very good rust and corrosion protection
  • High scuffing load capacity and micro-pitting resistance
  • Long service life
  • Reduces gear tooth wear
  • Reduces power consumption (in selective applications due to its superior lubricity)
  • Reduces downtime and lowers maintenance costs

Applications / Recommendations:

  • Recommended for use in industrial gears and bearings where operating or bulk oil temperatures are beyond the performance of conventional lubricants.
  • Especially suitable for moderate speed gears operating at high temperatures and loads.
  • Developed for the lubrication of worm gears with steel/bronze pairings.
  • Can be used for the lubrication of lifting, drive, and transport chains.
  • Compatible with metallic materials and many elastomeric seal materials (if in doubt, consult the Balmer Lawrie Technical team).
  • Balmerol Synthgear GB Series, having Polyglycol base oil, is incompatible with mineral or PAO-based synthetic oils; mix-up should be avoided.
